Rafters Star Set To Sell Up
Rebecca Gibney, Gold Logie winner and star of home grown hit Packed to the Rafters, is selling her riverfront home in the Tamar Valley in Tasmania.
The four-bedroom, three bathroom ‘River Point House’ is set on over 14 acres of picturesque land located just north of Launceston on the Tamar River at Kayena.
Rebecca and her husband, artist Richard Bell, purchased the property in 2002 and for the past year have rented the property out as an executive holiday home.
In 2007, Gibney expressed concerns over the impact a $2.2 billion pulp mill proposed by Gunns Limited would have on the air and water quality of the Tamar Valley.
Selling agent, Kerry Sanders from Roberts Real Estate expects the property to fetch a figure of around $1.3 million.
